After School Sports Registration for Kinder & 1st-Graders

Orion has teamed up with Legarza Sports to offer a low-cost ($20), after-school, all-sports program, funded in part by a generous donation from Prima.

The fast-paced hour-and-a-half sessions are run by Legarza’s energetic and knowledgeable staff . Your child will learn and have fun while playing basketball, soccer, hockey, and recess games such as 4-Square, tag games, relay races, capture the flag, and MORE! The focus is on fun-filled activities that help to build confidence, teach cooperation and teamwork, and improve athletic ability.

  • For kindergartners and first graders
  • 10-weeks on Tuesdays: 3/19-6/4 (NO CLASS 4/2 & 4/23)
  • 2:30-4:00 P.M.

If you would like your child to attend, please read and sign the attached permission slip. Include a check for $20 made out to Starship Orion and deposit it with the permission slip in the Starship mailbox in the front hall at school. Permission Slip

Orion “Go West” Auction!

Orion’s biggest fundraiser is around the corner…

The “Go West” auction night includes complimentary drinks from 6pm-7:30pm, dinner & dessert, silent auction, live auction, and professionally-led line dancing! Kid’s Night Out is available through Ingenium for a small fee, and all proceeds are generously donated to Orion.


And last but not least… in the spirit of our Orion community, please consider helping out at the auction for an hour or two, so everyone (including our hard-working auction committee) can have some fun!

Dine Out for Our Schools!

Starship Orion and the John Gill PTA invite you to dine at Main & Elm from this Wednesday, February 27th through Saturday, March 2nd to benefit RCEF.

The Redwood City Education Foundation (RCEF) is the only organization that fundraises to support all Redwood City School District schools. In a district where two out of three students are from low-income families, RCEF partners with RCSD to help boost school success through enrichment opportunities. Learn more about RCEF…
