Today you received a copy of the School Site Council Candidate Bios and an SSC Ballot for the 2018-2019 school year. Please read about our wonderful parent candidates, cast your ballot, and return your ballot to Liz in the office by Tuesday, June 5th.
Combination Class Information Meeting
Next year, Orion will once again have two combination classrooms. We will have a 3rd/4th class and a 4th/5th class. If you would like to learn more about combination classes, please join us on Monday, June 4th at 6:30PM in the MUR. We will discuss the benefits of combination classes as well as answer any questions you may have. Hope to see you there!
Volunteer Tea
Join us on June 7th at 8:10 in the big playground. Our kiddos will sing a song to the parents, and our amazing parents will be honored for all their volunteer work. We will then head to the cafeteria for some light food and coffee.
Maze day
This year we will try something a little new for Maze Day. We will host all new families on Tuesday, August 14th. We will host all returning families Wednesday, August 15th. Look for more details over the summer.
Welcome
We will be adding a new teacher to our incredible Orion community next year. Julie Souza will be our new 3rd-grade teacher! Julie has been teaching in the Redwood City School District for four years. She brings an amazing amount of creativity, energy and heart to everything she does. Please join me in welcoming Julie!

Reunión de información de clase combinada

Té voluntario
Únete a nosotros el 7 de junio a las 8:10 en el gran patio de juegos. Nuestros niños cantarán una canción a los padres, y nuestros increíbles padres serán honrados por todo su trabajo voluntario. Luego nos dirigiremos a la cafetería para tomar algo ligero y café.
Día de laberinto
