WOW! The school play rocked the house! A HUGE thank you to Robynn Garfield and Kirsten McMullen for bringing us such an incredible show. Their combined talents in writing, directing and producing came together to allow our Orion stars to shine brightly on stage. THANK YOU!!!!
SBAC Testing Continues (May 11-May 25).
From 8:10-9:55 the school will be on silent mode. No one should be in the halls or on the playground. We need a quiet and calm environment for testing. Arrive no later than 8:08 to school. Children who arrive late will not be able to enter the classroom and will have to do a make-up test.

We NEED PM Traffic Duty
Most of our PM traffic duty people have disappeared! We desperately need at least 2 people out there each day. PLEASE, think about coming and putting in 15 minutes to help out. For every 15 minutes you work, you get 1 hour of credit. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
School Site Council (SSC) Candidates
We have two openings on our School Site Council for next year. The term is two years. The SSC is the governing board for all of the official school policies and procedures. It oversees the budget from the district for the school, reviews student data, and makes curricular decisions. The SSC meets once a month, on a Thursday, from 1:45-2:45.
If you are interested in running for the position, please write a brief biography about yourself. This will be placed on the ballot for June 1st. You need send your bio to Julie by Wednesday, May 23rd to get on the ballot. Join us!

Continúa la prueba de SBAC (11 de mayo al 25 de mayo).
De 8: 10-9: 55 la escuela estará en modo silencioso. Nadie debería estar en los pasillos o en el patio de recreo. Necesitamos un entorno callado y tranquilo para las pruebas.
Llegue antes de las 8:08 a la escuela. Los niños que lleguen tarde no podrán ingresar al aula y deberán realizar una prueba de recuperación.

¡La mayoría de nuestras personas encargadas del tráfico de PM han desaparecido! Necesitamos desesperadamente al menos 2 personas cada día. POR FAVOR, piense en venir y poner en 15 minutos para ayudar. Por cada 15 minutos que trabajas, obtienes 1 hora de crédito. POR FAVOR AYUDA!!!!!!
Candidatos del Consejo Escolar (SSC)
Tenemos dos vacantes en nuestro Consejo Escolar para el próximo año. El término es dos años. El SSC es la mesa directiva de todas las políticas y procedimientos oficiales de la escuela. Supervisa el presupuesto del distrito para la escuela, revisa datos estudiantiles y toma decisiones curriculares. El SSC se reúne una vez al mes, un jueves, de 1: 45-2: 45.
Si está interesado en postularse para el puesto, escriba una breve biografía sobre usted. Esto se colocará en la boleta del 1 de junio. Debe enviar su biografía a Julie antes del miércoles, 23 de mayo para inscribirse en la boleta. ¡Únete a nosotros!
